Welcome Message

Welcome to Ephesus Elementary, home of the Roadrunners! We currently serve approximately 450 students from Pre-K through 5th grade in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School district. Our mission is to welcome all, inspire each, and grow togetherWe will do this by providing an engaging, safe, and empowering community that values the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students.

From the Principal

First, please note that we do have a full five days of school this week.

Second, please take a moment to check the lost and found area before Friday. Items left will be donated to the PTA Thrift Shop during winter break.

Third, as the weather continues to feel more like winter, here are some reminders:
  • Dress your children appropriately for outdoor activities. Unless it's less than 32 degrees or raining, we will go outside for recess each day.
  • Watch your speed in our parking lots. The days are getting shorter and it is a bit dark during morning arrival. It can be hard to see little people crossing to get to school. Remember that the speed limit on our campus is 9 mph.
And finally, school will be closed from December 20-January 4 for winter break. Teachers and staff will not be available by phone or email during this time. We've enjoyed watching your children grow and learn for the first half of the school year and we look forward to seeing them again in January!
