Welcome to Ephesus Elementary, home of the Roadrunners! We  currently  serve approximately 450 students from Pre-K through 5th  grade in the  Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School district. Our mission is  to welcome all,  inspire each, and grow together. We will do this by  providing an  engaging, safe, and empowering community that values the  academic,  social, and emotional growth of all students.

  • Principal's Weekly Message for 8/24/15

First, we are excited to get started with our learning on Monday, the first day of school for all students in grades 1-5.  Please be sure that your child and your child's teacher are aware of your dismissal plan.

Second, we look forward to seeing half of our kindergartners on Monday and the other half on Tuesday from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM.  Parents should plan to drop off and pick up their children in the atrium for their appropriate orientation day.  We will have a brief classroom tour at noon on both days for any interested parents.

Third, if you have not already done so, please be sure to verify the information on your child's School Information Verification Form (SIVF) and return it as soon as possible.  Please let the classroom teacher know if you have any changes throughout the year.

And finally, we want to remind parents of students who walk that they are welcome to play on the 3-5 playground at dismissal until 3 PM.  From 3-6 PM, it is reserved for the Ephesus After School Program.  We hope you enjoy the time you do have to meet community members and build relationships.  We appreciate your understanding that the k-2 playground is not available at all until after 6 PM.

Thank you for taking the time to listen to this message.  I look forward to another fantastic year of learning and growing with your children at Ephesus!
