Welcome Message

Welcome to Ephesus Elementary, home of the Roadrunners! We currently serve approximately 450 students from Pre-K through 5th grade in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School district. Our mission is to welcome all, inspire each, and grow togetherWe will do this by providing an engaging, safe, and empowering community that values the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students.

From the Principal

First, please be sure your children are ready to take the Pacer Test on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday in PE.  This assessment helps us track students' fitness growth throughout the school year.  It's important for all students to wear their sneakers for PE and try their best.

Second, we will have a community campus clean-up event on Saturday, October 4 from 9-12.  We invite all students and their families to join in for all or part of that time to complete various improvement projects around our school.  An RSVP is not mandatory, but would  help us better plan for the day.  Please email me if you would like to join us!

Third, thank you to our generous school community for raising almost $25,000 for the Walk for Education!  This is an amazing show of support for our school and for education.  We are still able to accept donations this week, so please continue to turn in those envelopes.  I look forward to seeing all roadrunners lead the walk for our district on October 11.

Thank you for taking the time to read to this message.  I hope you have a great week!
