Welcome Message

Welcome to Ephesus Elementary, home of the Roadrunners! We currently serve approximately 450 students from Pre-K through 5th grade in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School district. Our mission is to welcome all, inspire each, and grow togetherWe will do this by providing an engaging, safe, and empowering community that values the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students.

From the Principal

First, thank you to our students and parents for your efforts during teacher appreciation week!  Your kind words and treats made us all to feel very special.

Second, some important items will come home in Monday folders and/or via email tomorrow:

(1)  Performance Series reports for students in grades 3-5 - If you have questions about your child's progress, please contact his/her classroom teacher directly.

(2) ballots to vote for parent representatives for the School Improvement Team (SIT) and the PTA - There is one ballot per parent/guardian, not per household.

(3) brick sale information - As we continue our efforts for the campus plan, we are selling bricks to add to our display on the atrium floor.  Money from this effort will be used for our next project, which will be a small amphitheater on the 3-5 playground.  Please note that this is NOT a PTA fund raiser, but is a school effort.

Third, if you have a rising kindergarten student, please register him/her at our district office as soon as possible.  We are provided teaching allocations based upon the number of students enrolled, so registering early allows us to be better prepared for your children in August.

Thank you for taking the time to read to this message.  I hope you have a great week!
