Welcome Message

Welcome to Ephesus Elementary, home of the Roadrunners! We currently serve approximately 450 students from Pre-K through 5th grade in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School district. Our mission is to welcome all, inspire each, and grow togetherWe will do this by providing an engaging, safe, and empowering community that values the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students.

From the Principal

First, second quarter report cards will come home in your child's folder on Monday.  Please sign and return the envelope, but the report is yours to keep.  As always, if you have questions about your child's progress, please contact his/her teacher.

Second, we will have a delayed opening on Thursday, January 29.  Students should arrive at school between 9:25 and 9:50 AM.  We appreciate the time this affords our staff for professional development activities.

Third, we hope you will join us for the Public School Foundation's annual 5K for Fitness on April 25.  You can register on the Public School Foundation's website and please designate Ephesus as your school.  This fun, family event is open to everyone and joining us for the 3.1 miles is a great way to show your roadrunner spirit!

And finally, if your child forgot his/her read-a-thon reading log on Friday, we will still accept them on Monday.  We will share the participation results and announce whether or not we'll have a snowball fight as soon as possible.

Thank you for taking the time to listen to this message.  I hope you have a great week!
