Welcome Message

Welcome to Ephesus Elementary, home of the Roadrunners! We currently serve approximately 450 students from Pre-K through 5th grade in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School district. Our mission is to welcome all, inspire each, and grow togetherWe will do this by providing an engaging, safe, and empowering community that values the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students.

From the Principal

First, please join us in celebrating International Week this week at Ephesus. On Tuesday, we will have PTA spirit night at Alfredo's, Mixed, or Red Bowl. On Wednesday, we will have our cultural arts evening and 5th grade cafe from 5-7:30 PM. On Friday, we will have movie night from 6:30-8:30 PM. More detailed information about each event will come home in your child's Monday folder.

Second, report cards will come home in Monday folders. The report is yours to keep, but please sign and send the envelope back to school. As always, if you have questions about your child's progress, please contact the classroom teacher.

Third, the fifth grade is in need of clean, clear 2-liter plastic bottles for an upcoming science unit. If you are able to donate any, please send them to the main office.

And finally, please check out the district website for important information about next year's budget. If you have questions, I encourage you to attend our next School Improvement Team (SIT) meeting on April 24 from 5:30-7:30 PM or please contact me at school.

Thank you for taking the time to read to this message. Have a great week!
