Welcome to Ephesus Elementary, home of the Roadrunners!

We  currently  serve approximately 400 students from pre-K through 5th  grade in the  Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School district.

Our mission is  to welcome all,  inspire each, and grow together
We will do this by  providing an  engaging, safe, and empowering community
that values the academic,  social, and emotional growth of all students.

  • Principal's Message 12/4/17

Some announcements for the week of December 4.

First, the district will hold an information session about the LEAP program this Tuesday, December 5 at 6:30 PM at Smith Middle School. Please also note that the deadline for nominations of 3rd, 4th and 5th graders for gifted services has been extended until January 12. If you have questions, please contact our gifted education specialist, Becky Baker, at bbaker@chccs.k12.nc.us.

Second, little hands get very messy in art class. If you are able to donate hand wipes for us to use, please send them directly to Ms. Murphy in the art room.

Third, December's PBIS character trait is optimism. If you are interested, here is an article about teaching your children how to be optimistic. Enjoy!

Thank you for taking the time to read this message.  Please follow Ephesus Road Elementary on Facebook and @EphesusElem on Twitter. Please also check out our website for volunteer opportunities. I hope you have a great week!
