Principal's Message for 10/30/17

posted Oct 29, 2017, 12:12 PM by 311 Ees

Some announcements for the week of October 30:

First, thank you to the PTA and our entire community for making our Fund it FAST Campaign a success. I appreciate everyone's generosity and participation and hope we can make the Roadrunner Romp an annual tradition.

Second, I know that many of our students will celebrate Halloween on Tuesday. Please remember that we do not wear costumes to school, nor do we host classroom parties with food, but hope that you have fun however you choose to participate outside of school.

Also, for the third year in a row, I am challenging students to donate some of their candy at school next Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. While our main goal is to get some of the sugar out of our children's hands, we will send some of it to the troops overseas. If we collect 110 pounds, we will have a special celebration. Students will vote for what type of celebration they'd like to have during morning meeting one day next week.

Third, if you are interested, this week's article is about Halloween safety. Enjoy!
