The end of grade tests (EOGs) are scheduled as listed. We realize that these dates surround the Memorial Day Holiday, which is unfortunate.
Please note that NC law states that EOGs must be taken within the last ten days of the school year. While most students will complete the assessments as scheduled, some will need more time over multiple days, which causes us to schedule sessions right up through the end of the school year. Additionally, we cannot start testing earlier for some students than others, which means everyone has to begin on May 26.
We will not be able excuse absences for educational opportunities on any of the testing days.
We appreciate your understanding as we work to assess our students and comply with state law. Should you have individual questions about how this may impact your family, please email Mrs. Creamer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
