Principal's Message for 11/7/16

posted Nov 7, 2016, 6:05 AM by 311 Ees

Some important announcements for the week of November 7.

First, please note that this week's schedule is busy and a bit crazy. Here are some highlights:

Monday - picture retake day - This is for any student who missed our fall individual pictures or would like to try again.

Tuesday - teacher workday - We will have parent conferences all day. We hope you will also take the time to exercise your right to vote on election day!

Wednesday - student council pajama day - We hope your students have fun sporting their PJs all day! We will also have parent conferences in the evening from 4-7 PM.

Thursday - The School Improvement Team (SIT) will meet from 5:30-7:30 PM in the media center. In addition to our regular updates, we will share information about our digital learning environment and tools. This will be an interactive session and we will have laptops available for parents to use. If you prefer to bring your own, that will also work. I hope to see you there!

Friday - School will be closed for the Veteran's Day Holiday.

Also, please mark your calendars for the International Festival on Thursday, November 17. The event will include food trucks, music, art, dancing, and displays from various countries. If you are interested in helping, please go to the link posted on our school webpage. Please also encourage your students to practice their songs at home.
