Some announcements for the week of January 9:
First, this is a busy week at Ephesus. On Monday, grade level newsletters will come home via email or in your child's backpack. Please also look for a flyer for Ident-A-Kid pictures. If you'd like your child to participate, please send in the form and payment for Wednesday.
On Monday we will also host camp night from 6:00-7:30 PM in the media center for any parent interested in information and support for summer camp registration and funding.
Second, Wednesday night is PTA spirit night at The Loop at Eastgate. If you dine there from 5-9 PM, please mention Ephesus at the register and we'll receive a portion of the proceeds.
Third, Thursday is a delayed opening. Students may arrive at school between 9:25 and 9:50 AM. We appreciate this valuable professional learning time and regret that we cannot provide adequate supervision of children prior to 9:25.
The School Improvement Team (SIT) and the PTA will host a joint meeting on Thursday as well. It will be from 5:30-7:30 PM in the media center. Dinner and childcare will be provided. Attending is a great way to learn more about each group at Ephesus as well as hear from the architect of our next campus plan project, the 3-5 playground amphitheater. I look forward to seeing you there!
And finally, please ask your children about the Healthy Roadrunner poster contest. This is optional for all students and entries are due on January 31. You can contact Nurse Michele if you have questions.
