Some important announcements for the week of February 22.
First, this week is Historically Black Colleges and Universities Week (HBCUs) at Ephesus! Each grade level will focus on a different school, learn fun facts about it, and wear its colors on Friday. Please encourage your children to share what they learn with you.
Second, as Black History Month comes to a close, we will also host our African American Read-In with guest speakers from the community. Please also check out our Wall of Fame display of student work in the atrium.
Third, the School Improvement Team (SIT) will meet this Thursday, February 25 from 5:30-7:30 PM in the media center. In addition to our regular updates, we will share data from our mid-year assessments in math and reading. SIT meetings are always open to the public and attending is a great way to stay informed about policy and procedures at Ephesus and in our school district.
