Some announcements for the week of March 13:
First, thank you to everyone who has donated K cups to us in the past few weeks. We appreciate your generosity!
Second, we are excited that State Superintendent Mark Johnson will visit Ephesus this Wednesday, March 15. He is specifically interested in learning more about our digital learning environment and 1:1 technology tools. While here, he will spend time talking to teachers and visiting a few of our classrooms. We look forward to meeting him!
Third, we will have a School Improvement Team (SIT) meeting on Thursday, March 16 from 5:30-7:30 PM in the media center. In addition to our regular reports, we will share information about the math standards and instruction at each grade level. SIT meetings are always open to the public and attending is a great way to stay involved at Ephesus.
Fourth, the PTA will also host spirit night at Alfredo's Pizza in University Mall this Thursday. If you eat there between 5 and 9 PM, please mention Ephesus at the register and a portion of the evening's proceeds will be donated back to our school.
And finally, we are looking forward to the Public School Foundation's 5k for Education on Saturday, March 18 at 9 AM. Many staff members, students, and parents have registered to walk or jog the 3.1 mile route around UNC's campus. I look forward to a fun event with our roadrunners!
