Principal's Message for 9/4/17

posted Sep 6, 2017, 6:49 AM by 311 Ees
Some important announcements for the week of September 4: First, thank you for a wonderful first week of school! We hope our students take Monday's holiday as an opportunity to rest and recharge after adjusting to our routines. Second, we hope to see you on Tuesday, September 5 for Open House from 6-7:30 PM. The PTA will be available to share information in the atrium beginning at 5:30 PM. We will not have childcare at this event, so if you bring your students, they must remain with you at all times. Third, the PTA will meet this Friday, September 8 from 7:45-8:30 AM in the media center. I encourage everyone to join the PTA and attend any meetings that fit your schedule. And finally, please note that school begins promptly at 7:50 each day. Students are welcome to enter the building starting at 7:25. Parents who wish to walk their children to class may do so during this 25-minute window and must stay good-bye at the classroom door. Once the bell has rung, parents will not be permitted to walk their children to the classroom. We appreciate your help in maintaining the integrity of our instructional day. Thank you for taking the time to read this message. Please follow Ephesus Elementary on Facebook and @EphesusElem on Twitter. Please also check out our volunteer opportunities. Have a great week!
