Principal's Message for the Week of 8/29/16

posted Aug 26, 2016, 3:10 PM by 311 Ees
Some important announcements for the week of August 29:

First, we are excited to welcome all of our 1st-5th graders tomorrow for a full day of school. Kindergartners should have received information about their staggered entry day on Monday or Tuesday from 8:30-12:30. Their first full day will be Wednesday, August 31.

Second, we welcome parents in the building between 7:25 and 7:50 AM daily. If you walk your child to his/her classroom, please say good-bye at the door. Doing so helps foster your child's independence and ownership of the classroom space. It also helps us maintain the integrity of the learning atmosphere and the professionalism of the staff. If you have an issue to discuss with the teacher, please write a note, email, or call to set up an appointment. We thank you in advance for helping make our morning transitions smooth and safe for everyone!

Third, if you have questions or need assistance with the free/reduced lunch application, please contact Ms. Meredith.

Fourth, please note that the 3-5 playground is available after school from 2:30-3:00 PM for community use. After that time, it is reserved for our After School Program. Both playgrounds are open to the public beginning at 6 PM each day.

Thank you for taking the time to read this message. Please be sure to follow Ephesus Elementary on Facebook and @EphesusElem on Twitter. Please also check out the volunteer opportunities on our website. I'm looking forward to an excellent start to the school year with your children! Thank you.
